During the winter time Bormio changes its look and welcomes its guests in a new guise: that of the white snow, which covers the landscape and allow the tourists to practise a lot of winter activities suitable for all people and meeting every need.

Winter is dedicated to skiing in all its variation: the ski area of the Magnifica Terra has well prepared and snow-covered slopes for downhill skiing, snowboard , ski touring, freeride, telemark and cross-country skiing.

For the less daring a walk into the woods with snowshoeing or a ride with “Sledge dogs” or on a horse are suggested.
